Hurricane Victim Assistance

U.S., Puerto Rico and many of the Caribbean Islands are still reeling from the effects of the multiple hurricanes that recently tore across the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico.

Most of Puerto Rico is still without power, the destructive forces of the hurricanes devasting homes and businesses.

The Houston Texas area and parts of Louisiana are going to take months, even years to rebuild. Scores of families lost their homes, their belongings and in many cases their jobs. This as many businesses were forced to close due to the damage they sustained either from the winds or the waters, or both.

Harvey closely followed by Irma striking Florida both category 5 hurricanes bringing destruction and causing thousands to flee their homes, of which many of the homes were destroyed.  Five major hurricanes in succession bringing devastation.

The National Weather Service has been tracking hurricanes since 1878 and Meteorologists have noted that September 2017 is the strongest hurricane month in 139 years and has also set the monthly record for major hurricane days.
